Starting my English learning journey
I started learning English when I was in fourth grade. At first, it was a bit confusing and difficult for me to understand everything as I was not used to hearing and speaking in English. But, I had a good English teacher who used to make learning fun and interactive for us. She used to explain everything with the help of pictures and videos, which made it easier for me to understand the concepts.
Challenges faced while learning English
Despite having a good teacher, learning English wasn't an easy task for me. There were times when I found it hard to understand English grammar rules, especially tenses. Also, speaking in English fluently was a big challenge as I was hesitant and shy to speak English with my classmates. But, with time and practice, I improved a lot. I started watching English movies, reading English books, and speaking with my friends in English, which helped me a lot.
Becoming proficient in English
After five years of learning English, I can proudly say that I have become proficient in it. I can read, write, speak, and understand English quite well. It has opened up a world of opportunities for me, and I feel confident while communicating in English. To become proficient, I had to put in a lot of hard work, but it was worth it. I am now able to communicate and interact with people from different parts of the world in English.
