The First Encounter

I was terrified, but my training kicked in, and I assessed the situation. It turned out that the man was the boss of a notorious gang in the city, and he had been stabbed by a rival gang member.

Becoming Acquainted

The boss, whose name was Vincent, was admitted to the hospital, and I made sure to check in on him every day. We slowly started talking and soon realized that we had a lot in common.
