Self-reflection on English Exam
Preparation
Before the exam, I had planned to study hard and review thoroughly. However, due to my procrastination, I ended up cramming the night before the exam. This led to a lack of quality preparation, resulting in me not feeling confident during the test.
Exam Performance
During the exam, I found myself struggling with some of the questions. As a non-native English speaker, I feel that my reading and writing skills are weaker than my peers. I spent too much time on some questions, which caused me to run out of time towards the end of the exam. I also made careless mistakes, such as misspelling words or forgetting to answer parts of questions, which affected my overall score.
Improvement Plan
In order to improve my English exam performance, I need to focus on my weak areas, such as reading comprehension and essay writing. I plan to start studying earlier, and create a study schedule to follow in the weeks leading up to the exam. I will also practice time management strategies during practice exams, to ensure that I am able to complete the test within the given time frame. Additionally, I will pay more attention to details and avoid careless mistakes by double-checking my answers.
